It Will Be Here Soon Now

Spring flowers are something I look forward to every year. This year I am more than ready to see them after so much rain. Azaleas are so pretty. It is nice to know spring will be here soon.

Purple irises are some of my favorites although I like all the colors of irises. Hopefully getting way more rain than we usually get in the winter will not keep the plants from showing their beauty in the spring and summer.

Seeing the butterflies and bees return to pollinate the beautiful plants is something else to look forward to in the spring. I plan to plant more flowers this year that they will be drawn to.

All things are fresh and new and the air smells so clean in the spring. I love spring and all its beauty.

  1. Meg’s I love your flowers. We planted a new garden last year and sadly the landscaper we paid a lot planted plants that are not surviving. I am slowly replanting with what I asked…shrubs and evergreen perennials that attract hummers, butterflies and honey bees.

    1. So sorry about you having to replace what the landscaper planted. What you are putting in will be great and look very pretty. Love that you are planting perennials that will attract the hummers, butterflies and honey bees. Hugs

  2. We have irisses too now in our Angel’s place, Mags and crocusses, everything is starting to look so…eh…Springfull πŸ˜€ Pawkisses for a Happy Thursday to you and ChancyπŸΎπŸ˜½πŸ’ž

    1. Cold and raining here possible light snow flurries tonight or tomorrow…I just hope spring weather comes when spring does.

    1. We hope the warmth arrives with Spring. Sorry about the allergies…we have them too and they are no fun. Hugs and nose kisses ❀

  3. The pink azaleas and purple irises do look very pretty. Hopefully spring comes your way soon and you will be able to enjoy more beautiful flowers. Always lovely to see the bees and butterflies visit…it’s like long lost friend s returning home πŸ™‚ Here in Australia we are heading into Autumn and we’re enjoying the last gasp of summer. Plenty of colour soon as the weather cools.

Beautiful flowers Sweet Sister ❀ Spring is getting close and I'm looking forward to the colorful blooms. We've had lots of rain so things are growing-even the weeds-LOL The grass is high!! Thank you for sharing these lovely pics, Sis ❀ Enjoy!

    1. There is a pretty good weed and grass crop growing here too after all the rain. You are welcome sweet Sis and I am glad you enjoyed the photos. ❀

Ahh , such lovely colors. Those Azaleas are beautiful. My first Spring visitors are here. Daffodils are blooming all over town and I was surprised to see I have three volunteers blooming in the midst of my Liriope. Nature planted them, not me.

    1. My daffodils are up but not blooming yet…the neighbor’s are blooming mine should be soon. I plan to put some Liriope out this year. I had some but it has disappeared over the years. I love when nature plants beauty at my place.

  6. Sorry my finger slipped… time of awakening of everything in nature! I used to wait for the flowers when we lived in MD. Here in FL it is a little less marked because our winters are milder and most trees are evergreen, but it is a beautiful time here as well. Soon you will enjoy the freshness of spring and beauty of your garden! Hugs from Dylan and me πŸ€—

    1. I had to smile…I have done that so many times. I sure hope to soon see some beautiful blooms. We have had lots and lots of rain but very little sun…I hope that does not hinder the plants from blooming on time. Thank you for the hugs, I will give Chancy his. ❀

I have a wooden deck in my backyard that is surrounded with Azalea plants and not far from the deck many plants with Irise. What a coincidence! πŸ™‚

I go out and take as many pictures as I can thru spring and when the summer wildflowers bloom..I am just in heaven on earth.

  12. spring and fall; if I could find a place where those two seasons went on for ever; I’d
be there in a minute !! I wish Azalea would grown here; to cold for them outdoors and
the one I have inside has long since overgrown his pot ! πŸ™‚ β™₯β™₯

    1. Oh, I too would love living where there was only a fall and spring season…guess there is no such place though. Sorry it gets too cold there for azaleas. ❀
